I fear that men are about to do what men do. They are about to characterize any sober thinking about power as non-technical and therefore unserious.

We have seen this pattern over and over again in tech criticism. Women and people of color repeatedly lead on understanding tech changes.

So… @support.bsky.team is it a feature or a bug that “notifications” don’t really work here? I’ll get the little number, then when I check…it’s the same 3 people for a week. Makes me not come in here.

The NYT really is desperate to cater to conservative audiences and it’s just getting more obvious and embarrassing.

Time for the second wave of folks to jump in and take on more so we can rest a bit.

If you have capacity, plug in with whatever’s happening in your neighborhood.

I have incarcerated comrades & loved ones who are enduring the daily torture of US prisons. They also continue to make art. They often don't have the proper supplies and yet they make it knowing that it will never make it out to anyone else. But they continue to make art nonetheless. Keep making art

Day after day, they walk out anyway. Teenagers choosing conscience over comfort, courage over fear. They keep showing up to protest ICE, cages, and inhumanity. In surprising places like Oklahoma, young people persist.

History moves because they refuse silence.

the Epstein files are really devastating because they remind me of how many girls and women miss out on professional opportunities, mentorship and careers because of how many powerful, rich and influential men only view girls and women — and interactions with them — through the lens of sex
