This is very real for Trans people, Lab have:
Attacked Trans people using biased reports setup by Cons
Legalised Transphobia & Police ignoring anti-Trans hate crimes
Removed access to some private / NHS treatments
Removed our rights & ability to live fully in wider society
Lab ‘Dignity & Respect’🤮
84% of trans people polled by YouGov said Britain is “fairly unsafe” or “very unsafe” for trans people. A terrifying story - founded on actual data - which the BBC still refused to carry.

What is truly pathetic about Labour is that this is all they have got. They have failed so spectacularly already, despite a whacking great majority, to even attempt to govern positively that all they have is punching down on marginalised groups and saying "oh but Reform will be worse".

Your Party will be Dead On Arrival except they haven’t actually arrived yet !
They’re still arguing about:

Taxis or buses ?
Who will pay and how ?
Are LGBTQ drivers acceptable ?
Type of fuel to be used ?
Secretary identity ?
Blimey. Major new split in Your Party. Blackburn MP Adnan Hussain -who is secretary of the Your Party company - says he's quitting due to "persistent infighting, factional competition, and a struggle for power, position and influence rather than a shared commitment to the common good."

Please consider using the GLP web page to send an email to the BBC regarding the toxic anti-Trans coverage the BBC have been pouring out, whilst not reporting a 100K pro-Trans march in London.
The idiotic claims published under the guise of an impartial report that BBC are pro-Trans is a fantasy…
The BBC was founded to “provide impartial news”. If it's going to be the UK's biggest media organisation, it has to do its job right.

Hold the BBC to account 👇

The Bear exposing the ‘debate’ for what it is, both siding / faux balancing your very right to exist…
If you think this is a new thing it’s not, very similar arguments were had about the existence of section 28, gay rights & marriage.
I honestly didn’t think I would have time to put anything out, but then the cat woke me at 5, I got annoyed by a gleeful Telegraph at 6:10 and suddenly the hours up to 08:30 and my lunchbreak became very, very productive.

“We didn’t punch down on or vilify trans people sufficiently for the Telegraph’s liking.”

How many years away are we from having a “both sides” factor when discussing gay people, I wonder?

Your worries may be real, and it’s natural to feel their weight, but disappearing into them won’t bring you any closer to resolution.

So the Telegraph’s “BBC bias dossier” - supposedly written by ex-BBC adviser Michael Prescott - is being used to claim there’s a rogue LGBT+ unit “censoring” gender-critical voices inside the BBC.

Let’s look at what’s actually in it. Spoiler: it’s nothing but recycled transphobic talking points!

🧵
For reference - Here’s the Telegraph article with the Prescott memo complaining about the BBC published in FULL.

Obviously, it’s an archived link which circumvents their paywall - as there’s no way I’m gonna give that transphobic rag any clicks or coin! 😣
