I talk about this in the book: Prof Sharrona Pearl has worked on this. iirc a whopping 25% of the time the media asked family members at a key time (in the wake of murder, grand jury nonindictment, etc) if they FORGAVE the white cop who murdered their kin. NVM+

I’m not sure why Brazil was a red line, but this is a good reminder that it would only take a handful of Republican senators to rein in this administration on MANY issues.

Once again LAPD ignore the law AND a federal court injunction preventing them from brutalizing media. I was knocked at the ground by police horse and threatened on a number of occasions with the rest if I didn’t leave the area. PC409.7 clearly details protections for journalists.
