I see a lot of talk about this being a way to undermine mail in voting. Which it absolutely is. But I think it's also part of a larger effort to further remove any alternatives to doing *everything* by computer. Mail not reliable? Talk exclusively online. Mailing gifts yourself not reliable? Buy
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

Last arc of the year! Not last book though. Exceeding expectations. Interesting sci-fi takes on ai, Buddhism, and galaxy spanning societies/culture wrapped around a (sort of) murder mystery.

Not what I was expecting out of this arc...don't know that horror is the right tag for this post apocalyptic story, but there are definitely worms beneath the surface of this garden (trauma worms, they're trauma worms).
