Veach has to make this team smarter. This group makes a ton of dumb mistakes. I think this offseason a point of emphasis must be on getting smarter players. It might be more important than anything else they do.

The care my dad has received in Tulsa has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is AMAZINGGGG. My dad took a bad turn. The doctor called the situation "rare" and the nurses said it was quite bleak for quite a while. But they interfered with the match and helped dad kick out. He's still here. ❤️🩹❤️🩹

My dad's surgery went well. He was breathing fine on his own for about 1 hour, 45 minutes. But when they started to remove the breathing tube, he coded. They shocked him three times. Nurse said they think his low potassium levels are causing life-threatening arrhythmia. I almost fainted. This sucks.

My immediate feeling after the Mahomes injury was that Brett Veach has to significantly upgrade the RBs and WRs. Pat isn't going to be the same scrambler he has been. They will need guys who can get open quick, and a solid running game to take the pressure off of him running so much. Big changes.

Dick Van Dyke once lived in my hometown, as he was stationed at Fort Crowder (now the site of Crowder College) in Neosho, Missouri, during the war with the legendary Carl Reiner. Fort Crowder is also the inspiration of "Camp Swampy" in Beetle Bailey, as Mort Walker was also stationed there.

My seasonal blues, mixed with worries about my dad, has really put me in a shell lately. Depression is crushing me again, but I can't sleep. Awake until the sun comes up every morning and awake again at 8:30 a.m. Things are going great.
