Australians are deciding USA is not a place to visit… oddly they still are going to Canada. Almost like there is something specific about the US..

Total German exports to the US were barely 3% of DE GDP. Germany has immense fiscal space, a ton of civilian and defense infrastructure needs, a CN looking to do inbound investment into DE & auto marques that (somehow) still have worldwide appeal. Quit your goddam whining Fred.

Does anyone know if Zamioculcas is a CAM plant?
Today I learned that the common houseplant Zamioculcas (the zz plant) is monocot w/ pinnately compound leaves. So called leaves are in fact leaflets. Unlike most species w/ compound leaves, the leaflets of zz plants are highly regenerative, from which whole plants can be readily regenerated.

I don’t know what he said or what he sprayed from that syringe, but Omar was squared up & ready to handle him.

And then continued her talk. I don’t know what’s in the water in Minnesota, but these folks have been underestimated.Later I’m sure Omar was shaking & maybe shed a tear, but..
REP. OMAR after being attacked with liquid: “We will continue! These fucking assholes are not gonna get away with this! Here is the reality people like this ugly man don’t understand — we are Minnesota Strong. We’ll stay resilient in the face of whatever they might throw at us.”

The article doesn't mention that the ADL, which condemns Walz, has taken a hard right turn recently. So has the Holocaust Museum, which now has Trump appointees on its board. It's political grandstanding.

I'm Jewish, and I think this analogy is entirely appropriate and, in fact, dead on.

Democrats just won a special election in St. Paul by 91%. That's basically impossible and also a 20% improvement over Harris's showing in the seat. Also, it shows that deploying ICE as a voter suppression tactic probably only works against their own voters.
