It’s times like this when I wish liberalism continually asserted itself as the dominant pov instead of always cowering before the right and asking for permission to exist.

“Most normal Americans are like us and you guys are the weirdos” is very strong branding.

Watching an episode of Rick & Morty that is awfully similar to the premise of Pluribus...

Good to see Commander McBragg himself, Aubrey Smith of BEYOND TOMORROW, a film that's become a Christmas tradition with me, co starring here. The first two THIN MAN movies are the best by far but the later ones do have their charms. Nora as pickpocket for example. #TCMParty

Y'know, a thought just crossed my mind- a THIN MAN adaptation by Rian Johnson. Luckily, I realized what a bad idea that would be, almost Tim Burton level bad. #TCMParty

Another blast from the past that I've been reading and re-reading a lot is Jeff Lemire and Alberto Ponticelli's old New 52 era FRANKENSTEIN, AGENT OF S.H.A.D.E.. Those are some seriously nuts comics, and I love how Frank was presented as much as I hated how James Gunn made him into a lovesick goon.

Read the first two issues of Erica Henderson's HARLEY & IVY - LIFE AND CRIMES. I liked it quite a bit, Henderson has improved greatly as an artist and a writer since the SQUIRREL GIRL days (I liked SG, don't get me wrong). Recommended so far, even though it has that stupid peeled face Joker in it.

Dear television commercial makers: can we please please finally admit that the Gregg Allman "Midnight Rider" has absolutely nothing to do with whatever wares are being peddled? Thanks.

This morning's reading: YULETIDE, a 3 issue series by George Northy and Rachele Aragno. If you've ever wanted to see a Hellboy Hallmark Christmas movie, well, look no further. It's a fun read, with hints of BEASTS OF BURDEN and Stephen King in the mix too.

Say what you will about Del Toro's FRANKENSTEIN (and I've seen a lot of things, many not good, said), I thought Oscar Isaac was quite charismatic as Victor, I enjoyed watching him wax fanatical.

Decided to skip the Christmas Story and watch Flintstones episodes from S1E1. A little surprised to see that according to the sign outside of town, Bedrock's population is 2,500. My little middle of nowhere home town of Horse Cave, is estimated at 2,250 to 2,350.

THE MAN CALLED FLINTSTONE could have been a fun spy spoof, but everything about it is bad- lame songs, worse animation than the TV series- looks more like the horrible 70s style- unfunny script. Maybe by the time it came out the whole spy movie genre was getting played out. #TCMParty

Been flipping through the channels for like 20 minutes now and just can't find the Black Friday parades. I'm stunned.

Today I had two good meals, one traditional, one Chinese; got to see the Derpy Tiger balloon on the Thanksgiving Day Parade telecast, had good fantasy football results, and actually hit on two, count 'em two bets on Fanduel.

I think it's gotten to the point where creative output should be regulated somehow; maybe 1 out of every 100,000 people should be legally allowed to make art or music or the kind of crap you present to the world. Assuming of course the term "illegal" still means anything.
