The Canadian Food Protection Agency probably needs a funding (and staffing) boost so we can increase oversight on food imported from the US.
A lot of immediate adjustments everyone has to make, but understanding that tearing down the FDA and replacing it with alchemy and any method proven to give the masses diarrhea appears to be happening quickest, so prepare for that in your own ways.
