She/her. Middle-aged Chicago storefront theatre multitasker with a corporate day job. Fond of sandwiches, dogs, and good writing. Frequently accompanied by an emotional support extrovert.
My favorite way to eat raspberries is to buy a package when they're on sale, wash them, put them in a dish right in the front of the fridge, and forget about them. Then every time I open the fridge I notice them and say, "Ooh, raspberry!" and eat one.

Science will often take you to unexpected and delightful places. In this study, researchers hypothesized that riders in a crowded subway car would be more likely to offer their seat to a pregnant person if there were someone in the subway car dressed as Batman 🧪🦇

alright let’s get something more pleasant going. what two books would you leave out on your coffee table so a reporter can mention you have them. doesn’t matter if you’ve read them. for me it’s Pale Fire (which I did read) and Ulysses (got like 15% of the way in)

A horror movie just waiting to happen. DO NOT GO IN THERE WHY ARE YOU GOING IN THERE IT IS A GIANT PITCH-DARK DEATH TRAP WITH TOXIC AIR.
We are out here fighting over whether we should keep burning the atmosphere or if people should have enough food to eat, and meanwhile the spiders are learning to cooperate. You do not want the spiders to cooperate.

When I do an intimacy design gig, I walk in knowing that part of my job is being prepared to burn down a professional relationship if necessary to protect an actor's safety. Even if I'm working for good friends. It's not my job to get hired again. Wish Congress understood that - it's their job, too.

Sautee an onion. Add kale and cook until thoroughly wilted. Add garlic, and crushed red pepper if you like, and cook briefly before adding a can of drained chickpeas. Cook until heated through. Finish with a splash of lemon juice or vinegar and some grated parmesan. Serve over couscous or rice.
