Americans should not have to employ monitoring devices over their activities 24/7 but here we are. Shame on that cop & Columbine Valley Police Department. There should be criminal consequences for a cop issuing a criminal citation on what this victim proved was no evidence. @philweiser.bsky.social
On Sept. 27, Chrisanna Elser greeted an unexpected visitor at her home in south Denver’s Fort Logan neighborhood: A police officer with the Columbine Valley Police Department.

Her first thought, she said, was to see how she could help him. But he had a warning for her instead.
Police used Flock cameras to accuse a Denver woman of package theft. She had her own evidence
"Like I said, nothing gets in or out of the town without us knowing."

Even people with good incomes (ok, excluding mega millionaires/billionaires) will modify other spending when premium notices arrive Saturday (November 1st). It is the hit to cash flow plus increased concern on what the next hits to budgets will be. A lot of money will fall out of consumer spending.

Health insurance premiums to double next year on Colorado’s individual market
The monthly “sticker price” of health insurance is rising, and households will have to pay a larger share of that monthly cost than they have since the pandemic.

What do you propose that "the Democrats" do? Pass another law that he will ignore? Make speeches? The GOP controls everything including a SCOTUS majority. This is what (mostly white) voters set us up for, and there isn't a magic wand that "the Democrats" could wave. They would if they could.

@vanhollen.senate.gov @bennet.senate.gov @degette.house.gov @hickenlooper.senate.gov F*ck the Israeli government. Netanyahu is a war criminal who should be prosecuted.
Many Palestinians in Gaza felt there was little to celebrate on Monday. “It’s important that the bombing has stopped, but there’s nothing to be happy about,” said Saed Abu Aita, 44. “My two daughters were killed, my home was destroyed and my health has deteriorated.”
Gazans See Little to Celebrate Even Though the Bombs Have Stopped
The cease-fire in Gaza has taken hold. Hostages and prisoners have been exchanged. But amid the utter devastation of two years of war, a sense of gloom pervades.

It's not a war but an invasion full of war crimes including genocide of over 60,000+ innocent people (10,000+ children) & displacement of thousands more, by Israel & its disgusting IDF. When 1 person or a group commits a crime, decent people don't take out a neighborhood/city/cntry. @thejournal.ie
Israel has said all parties have signed the first phase of a Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal, adding that the release of the captives would "bring the end to this war".

Israel says ceasefire could take hold 'within 24 hours' as Trump eyes Egypt visit for signing of deal

See, it can be done. Now we need these restriction and more at a national level. Include assault weapon ban (possession, not just sale of new) and funding of buybacks.
The 2nd Circuit upholds several New York gun restrictions, including a ban on public carry, gun-free "sensitive places" (including Times Square and the subway), and a special permit for city carrying. It holds that none violate the Second Amendment. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
