Today, Maine observes Indigenous Peoples' Day. We honor the lands and legacies of the Wabanaki Nations — Passamaquoddy, Penobscot, Maliseet, Mi’kmaq, Abenaki.
I look forward to passing legislation in the Senate to protect tribal sovereignty, which has been trampled for too long.

Finally, after seven years of not living there, I unsubscribed from the Portland Parking Ban email notifications. It used to make me laugh seeing those come in as my car was parked in my own driveway, but this February has had them sending me way too many damn emails with all this snow. 😂
