There is no ceasefire in Gaza, as far as Israel is concerned. But it’s a great way to get most of the world’s media to look elsewhere while the killings continue.
Israel has violated the United States-brokered “ceasefire” at least 1,520 times since it came into effect on October 10, 2025. At least 581 people have been murdered and 1,553 wounded by Israel since that date. These figures do not include the starved and those left medically untreated.
Several others injured in attack on building sheltering displaced people as Israel continues to violate 'ceasefire'.

got a fright when this loud, weird scritching noise started coming from my computer. i was all "wtf?!" then remembered i have a tab open for the kākāpo cam so had a look and there was Rakiura, awake and having a bit of a stretch & scratch. she's settled down again; hopefully my heart rate will too.

We found a 4th egg in #kakapo Waikawa's nest yesterday and found it was fertile. Waikawa has maintained her incredible 100% fertility record: 5 clutches of 4 fertile eggs in 4 breeding seasons. That's unmatched by any other kākāpō. #kakapo2026 #conservation #birds

So the COC has completely defunded health & Brown is sending a stern letter to Health NZ to meet waiting list targets because it's unacceptable. Could the media please ask him if they are going to fund health properly and let hospitals hire? Nope just going to let him blame hospitals instead. OMG
