three weeks of Term 4 left and if the last couple of days are anything to go by, they'll be hell. everyone's exhausted, there's still so much to do, us TAs got another shit pay offer, my autistic brain's constantly overstimulated, and a lot of the student behaviour is chaotic, bordering on anarchic.

some days it's quite hard to look for the positives. our government is shit. the economy is shit. world politics is shit. the weather is shit. my asthma is shit. and it's really shit that societal expectation is that we act like everything's fine when really it's mostly just a flaming pile of shit.

i just need a Snifters museum. one where i'm allowed to eat my own body weight in Snifters. and also take some home with me for later. okay, not so much a museum as a factory. a Snifters factory. for me. and all the other Snifters fans. but mostly me.

finally got a reply from HRC and it's about as bland and pathetic as you can get. i expect the "whatevs" replies i get from Luxon/Seymour/Peters 'cos they've been clear they don't give a shit what people think about anything. but naively, i'd hoped for more from the Human Rights Commission.

great job, everyone. 😊 when i first looked, No was out in front (42Y-58N) so we really turned it around. the end result, while better, is still a pretty dire reflection on how racist people in this country are. that 46% No crowd can go fuck themselves.

this number isn't a surprise, but i don't have a formal dx as i've been told my extremely abusive childhood makes it impossible to assess for early behaviour. i had no real social interaction or play + constant fear + had to hide the abuse. hard to separate autistic traits from trauma traits.
