This reminds me of a Soviet defector's description of Chekism, named after the Cheka, secret police. He said it was a mistake to view the Soviet Union as run by the Communist Party or Politburo. "One absolute power thinks, acts and dictates for everyone"—the police, with Stalin as first policeman.
I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
