Our rescue is fundraising, not only to fill the cupboards, but to pay vet bills. Like for lovely Pixie who had to have ALL her teeth pulled recently.
As a no kill shelter, they don't euthanise the scaredy babies, which means feeding them.

It rained ALL day and was AWESOME! I spent a lot of the day out. I think I overdid it. And have stayed up too late now. Must sleep. Read a lot today. Wrote 2,017 words on DDD on the computer and I wrote some in a spiral, too. I estimate about 300 words. I will type them in tomorrow.

I decided that I didn't feel like raiding tonight. Headache was affecting already bad vision. Instead, family and I went to Applebee's for dinner. I didn't realize how much we needed that. It was wonderful.
