i'm only around halfway through this one but so far it's a lot of fun, the prose is highly evocative and the world it builds is very unique. it also has all the stuff in the picture which is extremely good too

I don't understand how to explain that writing---WRITING---is literally about crafting sentences and picking the right words and analogies and inferences and double entendres and the sheer pleasure of standing back and seeing that yeah, what you've scribbled down expresses your thoughts well.

basically what i want is for the response to "ugh i hate pronouns >:(" to switch from "uhhh everyone has pronouns dummy!! :D" to "shut up you disingenuous child abusing nonce, your beliefs are foul garbage and you are a bad person for holding them"
but these people hate trans kids and cheer when they die. they get their dicks hard by fantasising about inflicting hideous, inhuman cruelty on the vulnerable. their views are not merely a gotcha to be answered with "of course i disagree, TWAW :D" in interviews. they need to be called what they are.

the fact that it is de facto illegal in the UK to have any organisation be trans inclusive even though the SC ruling did not stipulate that, simply because you will be menaced with lawsuits for not complying, really is one of those "oh we do not live in a meaningfully real democracy" moments
