A captured MX-90 Daboku is seen here maneuvering through the highlands of Radstadt some time in the mid-3030’s, in pursuit of Ronin forces under the command of Alexander Kurita.

Clantech making the loadout of paired LRM20’s, backed up by Streak SRM4’s and paired ER large lasers perfectly viable. During this playthrough, I don’t think I have a heavy slower than the tabletop equivalent of 5/8.

Mechwarrior 5, especially since Shadow of Kerensky came out, has been my go-to stress reliever, and am I ever happy that my machine can do ultra-high graphics!

My personal favourite Inner Sphere-produced omnimech, and while I think there’s some MW3 nostalgia at play, it looks better than the Vulture/Mad Dog/Hagetaka

I’m teaching a class about STAR TREK! Next month I’ll explore how Trek reflects America’s “progressive” ideals in each era and how that both expands and limits how we imagine the future. It’s part of Goddard Spark, a program born from Goddard College’s 1940s anti-fascist roots. Learn more below!

What, was “strength through joy” already taken?
I see that this small-minded puritanical pixie is laser-focused on getting the government reopened and the troops paid.

The article was published a month before the launch of the Enterprise-D. In traditional POPULAR MECHANICS fashion, some details are omitted or altered for brevity or national security. ;)

What movie do you consider “perfect”?

Continuing the thought from earlier about Shadow of Kerensky, having access to omnimechs early on (play it straight the first time, then have fun on the second playthrough) really alters the dynamics of early missions. They feel less like pitched battles as they do executions. 1/2

Where am I at mentally? Apparently the planet Deloyer.

Taking a break from the wretched hellscape that is world news by pretending to be a mech-driving mercenary of the 31st century… If you haven’t played Mechwarrior 5’s newest DLC, what are you waiting for?

Consider this your invitation in writing. Do it. Right now.

A fine example of this is the Black & Decker group, which has grown to include Black & Decker, Porter Cable, DeWalt, Stanley, Stanley Bostitch, Delta, (including the assets of Beaver
and Rockwell), Mac Tools, Irwin, and Craftsman, amongst others.
Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.

The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

It means more power for them and less freedom for you.
In 1983, 50 companies controlled 90% of the U.S. media market. That number is now down to 5.

this is hands down the best warp effect ever made and its a CRIMINAL shame that we will likely never see it used again.

A polite bigot is a bigot nonetheless. A true warrior knows that courteous words do not dilute the poison, but only serve to conceal it until it has spread. Civility in the service of hate deserves no polite response.

Watching all these centrist pundits stress the “civility” of Charlie Kirk’s style without addressing the ugliness of his substance is giving me a renewed appreciation of how the civil, polite White Citizens’ Councils conned the same crowd into thinking they were distinct from the cruder Klan.

Fuck these assholes and their whole warrior ethos bullshit. The US Army is going to be in for a rude shock on the modern battlefield if they really think this lone warrior schtick is going to work.
Hegseth: "Maximum lethality -- not tepid legality. Violent effect, not politically correct. We're gonna raise up warriors. Not just defenders."
