We the People is ALL the People.
We are paying taxes for a government the Republicans refuse to run.
We are paying taxes to fund a military that our president stated he intends to use against us. Illegally.
If the feckless cowards in the House & Senate could muster an ounce of courage & self respect, they could impeach and remove.

You know Trump's long list of obvious and likely misdeeds. It's time for actual investigations. www.thebulwark.com/p/state-comm...
It’s Time for the States to Start Investigating Trump
Democratic-led state governments can hold the aspiring autocrat’s feet to the fire.

I'll try this on the marines I know?

On second thought...
I work with Veterans. If I told them that they "killed people and broke things for a living" they would (rightfully) tell me to go to hell.

Those that have had to kill someone in the line of duty most often view it with sadness, regret, and one of the worst experiences of their lives.
Hegseth: "A few months ago I was at the White House when President Trump announced his liberation day for America's trade policy. It was a landmark day. Well, today is another liberation day. The liberation of America's warriors ... you kill people and break things for a living."

Trump needs to be investigated - and we don't need Congress or the DOJ to do that. New from @stevenstrauss.bsky.social: www.thebulwark.com/p/state-comm...

Upside: Trump may be losing the military with this one speech.
September 30, 2025 at 1:41 PM
I can hear the eye rolls through my computer speakers. "I fixed the military. I remade the military." "Central Casting." What an episode of rambling, senile, buffoonery.

Blah blah blah blah. Bullshit bullshit bullshit. Blabber blabber blabber.

Not giving the link here, but David Marcus pens on Fox that "One Battle After Another" is "an ill-timed apologia for left-wing violence." Yes, of course David, this leftist celebration of political violence where PTA specifically is okay with murdering cops as long as it's for the left.

Honest question coming from a former evangelical who was studying apologetics in order to work in anti-cult ministry: Now that LDS has been targeted, do fundamentalists and evangelicals have to accept them a "christians" now? Because according to fundamentalists & evangelicals, LDS is a cult.

the idea that you could just pass specific bills on specific areas with simple majorities is just beyond the ability and comprehension of most lawmakers in congress it seems
Its insane that American politics now more or less revolves around infrequently passing a single comically large overstuffed money bill instead of like... normal legislation

If Donald Trump is talking, he's lying.
The guy who claims he has a 90% approval rating fired the government statistician who keeps employment numbers because he doesn’t agree that her numbers are honest.

Just mere days after Taco urged Scotland and the EU to scrap windmills because he doesn't know how they work, Scotland approved the largest ever offshore windmill project ever.

Real world leaders give him and his advice the respect that they deserve- none whatsoever.

Scotland approves world's 'biggest offshore windfarm' project - days after Donald Trump pressured First Minister to scrap renewables
During his state visit, Donald Trump branded wind turbines a "con-job" and raised the issue during talks with Scottish First Minister John Swinney.

Trump is laying the groundwork for a pardon of Ghislaine Maxwell, pretending that she's a reliable informant on Epstein and not his literal partner-in-crime, so it's probably worth recirculating the facts:

www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
Ghislaine Maxwell convicted of federal sex trafficking charges for role in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuses
The jury weighed evidence from about 30 witnesses over 3 weeks who alleged the British socialite played a pivotal part in recruiting teenage girls for sex with Epstein.

Double talk and brain goo.
Q: “Yesterday…you were not sure who ordered the munitions halted to Ukraine. Have you since been able to figure that out?”

Trump: “I haven’t thought about it…”

Q: “What does it say that such a big decision could be made inside your government without you knowing?”

Death has no preference nor impulse. If it did it would have taken someone else today than my friend Alan. A fatherly, mentor figure in my life. A philanthropist who literally brought joy to millions of children during his lifetime. Death came in his sleep. A good one gone when we need him the most.
