It was bad. No actually, it was terrible. Trump gave an interview to Fox’s Laura Ingraham, and with his guard down and no one to blame but himself, he really put his foot in it. And MAGA is pissed AF. My write-up in the replies.

In the last 28 years, Alaska’s rural school districts have made close to 1,800 requests to the state to maintain and repair their crumbling public schools, which also frequently serve as emergency shelters.

Only 14% have been approved.

I can confirm, that is not “science in its best form”…because that’s politics. Not science.
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."

Instead of Trump grounding 10% of all air traffic in the US, he could simply ban private flights. But he won’t because he’d rather fuck up your holiday travel than upset his billionaire buddies.

SNAP has existed for 60 years. Benefits have gone out every single month over those six decades, including during government shutdowns. Until now.

Make no mistake: The money is available to fund SNAP during this shutdown. Trump is making a choice to withhold it.

Don’t forget this.
