Charities are warning that NHS #mentalhealth funding and the #MHIS could be at risk

Secretary for Health and Social Care #WesStreeting has stated he is “committed to the MHIS,” with full financial allocations releasing in the new year.

But what is the #MHIS, and why are charities still concerned?

I remember the Syria coverage dragging on for years. It’s strange to see the brutal Assad regime being toppled on a Saturday night with no real resistance & far less excitable coverage than we had back in 2011-12. Echoes of the way the Ceausescus were toppled in Romania during its revolution.

People are leaving Twitter because it’s not fun anymore and no one is obligated to be on a platform they don’t enjoy.

It’s not rocket science.

And I think we’re only just beginning to appreciate the scale of this phenomenon.
Twitter is extremely creepy these days because 90% of the responses are bots and it’s not exactly clear why. Usually it’s not even political, it’s not selling anything, it’s just bots pretending to be people. The vibe is like boarding a city bus and realizing none of the passengers have faces

Just deleted my Twitter account. Gutted. I’d made so many friends there, and it was vital to my career, but Elon Musk destroyed it both morally and practically. For several months I’d kept the account to lure people here, and now I’m done. I’m so glad Bluesky is thriving - thanks to you all 🙏

Twitter didn't gain relevance by being the biggest platform, it gained relevancy through the quality of the content and individuals. The main goal for everyone here should be to encourage global defender, media, and establishment accounts to transition to #BlueSky. That'll provide legitimacy.
