Not to get political or anything, but if the US is to make it out of this, every single right wing think tank like The Heritage Foundation and The Federalist Society needs to be dismantled in its entirety, its source of funding seized, and its existence criminalized so as never to take root again.

On one hand I like that Japan teaches kids to be independent by walking to school on their own from an early age. Also the kids look really cute ambling along like motherless ducklings. On the other, this is the country that invented a media genre wherein people are regularly demolished by cars.
