Less than 2 weeks until publication. I’m still busy as hell working in concert with my community to respond to a federal invasion and regular attacks on our neighbors and their defenders. Any help getting the word out about this book, which I believe can help us all right now, is deeply appreciated.
My publisher’s been very patient. I’m not doing everything I said I’d do to promote this book (out in a few weeks) because I’m an organizer in a city under federal attack. My days are full and emotionally exhausting. Any help getting the word out means a lot. It's a book people need right now.

Good morning from the ICE detention/processing facility in Broadview, IL, where pepper balls are already being deployed. A few moments ago a federal agent responded to early morning protestor heckling by firing pepper balls at the ground. Meanwhile one of his colleagues urges him to come inside.
