My college has been muddle-headed with Gen Ai. Mostly it's Ai washing (as long as you're informed of the risks) or bewildered faculty. Here's what I'm up against: our faculty developer posting four links to "How to Use Ai" talks above my talk, which was critical of Ai.

Kid activity in Burnsville Mn led me to fantastic pho at Pho Real, and the most car-brained streets I’ve seen in the state. Saw a bunch of benighted pedestrians on islands attempting to not die crossing 8 lane intersections.

Rode the bus to work & home (534 &4). Faster then biking, slower than e-bike, more relaxing than car, safest commute I can have.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

If there were any justice in Minneapolis, this lot would be developed as senior housing for African American Minnesotans, revitalizing a historic corridor of Black life. Walkable to grocery, library, and bus access. @dbrauer.net Maybe tell Roper?

Minnesotans, you can register at the polls! And college students can use their student ID!
If you know college kids that aren’t registered they can vote today!

Photo id plus one of these:

Or current registered voter at same precinct can vouch.

It’s hard for me to read about projects funded by the NEH pre Trump. We’ve lost so much culture and history in the US, the dystopian novels about abundantly ignorant leaders don’t feel like escapism anymore.

A heavy set bald man in a silver SUV tried to run me off the road at 76th and Upton in Bloomington Minnesota today. Be careful out there.

I love Minneapolis Parks and have long lauded the outdoor crews that serve the parks. So I was shocked to the learn that the recreation leagues run by Minneapolis Parks and Rec are scandalously unorganized. Finding information about your kid's practice & game times is akin to spycraft.

Let’s celebrate the achievement of the Civilian Conservation Corps with a statue.

Also he needs something
phallic in his hands, like an axe.

That’s the stuff.

Can y’all please be on the lookout for my bike? Last seen in Elliot Park. It is a black Biria bike with red pedals and stickers of local news orgs on the bottom tube. It also has a Brooks saddle and adapters for Wolf Tooth pogies on the handlebars.
