Biked to work today. Roads this morning were bumpy, the slush causing me to lose control of my bike. In some cases, I had to dismount because the snow was too high.
I rode home this afternoon. Better than this morning. Some roads were still slippery.

Pedestrians are using flashlights to get around & restaurants have closed early. Kitchen staff are taking the bus or scootering home.
Patrons are dining by candlelight.
Elsewhere, Waymos are stuck, snarling traffic.

As it turns out, I'm gonna be headed to Cold Spring that day and riding the train. If anyone wants to join me, PM me. We'll meet at Target Field at 6:30am but it's important to PM so I can walk you through getting set up on TriCap, which will take us from St. Cloud to Cold Spring.

Jon Collins is really providing top-notch coverage lately. My favorite detail: the ICE dude who got pepper sprayed by the other ICE dude.
Hennepin County dispatch got a panicked call from a Department of Homeland Security supervisor in Minneapolis requesting assistance because “we only have a few officers but we have 60-70 agitators fighting them.” Hennepin deputies didn’t witness any attacks on agents.
