using phonotactics allows for words that roughly follow english pronunciation rules without having to strictly follow english spelling patterns. for example, the coda /ʃt/ (as in 'fished') can be represented as 'shed', 'shd', or 'sht', but will still be easily pronounceable given correct placement

this differs from other pronounceable password/passphrase generators that i've found in that they tend to use markov chains between real syllables. i haven't done the math, but my assumption is that this causes the outputs to be more similar to real words and more crackable at a given length.

typically, passphrases need 7+ words and 50+ characters to hit 90 bits of entropy due to relying on dictionaries of real words
i present my phonotactics based word generator which can hit 90 bits of entropy with only 5 words and 25 characters, while still being pronounceable and easily typeable
