Graduate thesis is normally ~6 months for about 100 pages.
Including research and all.

I did my research, slacked for 5 months, wrote the implementation in a week and then I wrote (and rewrote due to pc crash) it all down as a paper in the last 72hrs before due date.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

Why I know that vibe-coding is not there yet.

As a benchmark, asked chat to read in a .gitignore and run the appropriate svn propset svn:ignore commands.

The code is nearly there but the svn propset call is wrongly passing data from stdin.

Chat does not know. And goes down the rabbit hole.
