I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.
And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.

I’m constantly astounded at the sheer level of artistic production coming out of Iceland. Novels, movies, music. Amazing.

I know most people talk about the head wobble, but my other favourite signature of his is how he holds the mouth shapes at the end of his sentences. He's never in any rush to get to the next pose, every action is deliberate and allowed to breathe.

Welp, did some work on my landscape, still getting frustrated at times with my painting and my rendering.
It's also hard to push through the "ugly/still ugly" phase and going further, believing "it will work out".
Oh well... tomorrow more work on it x)

REMEMBER: All the "Don't use em-dashes" "don't use rule of three" advice because it makes your writing "look like AI" is because they stole actual writers work, and their "predict the next thing" stuff just simulates what WE FUCKING DO. Keep writing well. Use every style and trick you have. Fuck AI.

Yeah I agree with this. There is pressure to push indie devs to sell games for steep discounts, when in practice they are charging half or less then what the bigger publishers do already. I think discounting your already lower price game by $3 or less is fine.
the reason you don't, and won't, see my $15 or $20 games at $2.99 or $1.99 on sale is because the instant i do that those games are only ever worth 1 or 2 dollars to anyone and i will never, ever, not in any known universe or timeline, make up for that in bulk when my main hindrance is visibility
