well... it looks like they took it early anyway. so now I'm in the hole for a lot more in order to get it back. I expected them to at least wait until the due date like last time, but that's being too generous with capitalism the way it is. instead of $600 now I need $2300

I also need to highlight someone else’s contribution to the Magfest museum this year: a slew of Japanese keitai with games on them! These were staples of Japanese gaming pre-smartphone, and it’s rad to see them presented here on their original hardware.

i think it goes without saying but I'll say it anyway: Escape Velocity is completely AI-free. Everything, from game assets to code to drafts to prototypes to promo material, everything is done by hand. It's my first game and I'm here to learn as much as make a good experience for folks to enjoy

It's good to use the resources at hand to fight because sometimes you win. Also, I keep thinking of the period after this man was killed and how a group of people tried to impose a new social reality. It didn't work. This too is a lesson.
