grease floats.

when it flows in sewage and into our plants, it thickens as temps fall, separating in our settling tanks.

the churning water forms grease globs that build like snowballs, and operators remove them so they don’t clog the process.

listen. don’t pour grease down your drains.

Golden Girls: Love is Golden is out TODAY! What would be REALLY cool is if you bought it at your local bookstore like, say, Bookstore Plus here in Lake Placid NY where I am for the holiday. Shopping small does wonders for your community as well as your SOUL. Now go forth and spread the love.

I sometimes dwell on the past if #Crew96 didn’t get food poisoned for the 2024 CCC Final what we’d be now. The team would stay together through the Club World Cup, etc. Now our best coach and players are gone. It’s all food poisoning’s fault and will continuously hashtag so. #FUFoodPoisoning

I've been learning to play guitar, and I think the folks who invented the guitar did not believe you'd ever need a B chord.

On its own, I thought Predator: Badlands was a good movie.

But I think "relatable Predator" runs kind of counter to the concept.

It'd work really well if you just CTRL-f the script and sub in a Klingon.

Pelia and Mestril (the Vulcan left behind at Carbon Creek), in the past, vs Colonel Green.
What is your Star Trek project that only you would love?

All of the TOS episodes rewritten in the Mirror Universe. 79 episodes of pure uncut goateed chaos.

Random thought - if they ever use Looker in a movie or TV show - Nikki Glaser.

Looker is far from a household name, but Katana, Black Lightning and Metamorpho have all been portrayed in live action. That's most of the Outsiders!

If they did the Matrix today, you’d enter not through a pay phone, but by scanning a QR code.
the matrix exists in a brief historical window of time when the phone and computer were both powerful, but existed separately.

At this time in 2022 Max Arfsten was an MLS Next Pro player about to enter the SuperDraft, with zero first-team appearances to his name.

Today he's the best player on the pitch for the USMNT, bursting with confidence, delivering end product. Quite a comeup.

I sent our couple friends a text saying I’m glad they’re not taking on Obergefell.

“Congratulations” feels like the wrong word.

I looked for a Hallmark card for this, but I don’t think they make one.

Sigh.
