With the upcoming release of Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray’s Jonah Hex: All-Star Western Omnibus (10/28), I wanted to reshare my mockup for their wildly underrated 2005 series. I have an application in for a Collected Editions editorial position at DC Comics and it is my absolute dream role. (1/3)

I applied for this job last night and it’s quite literally my dream job. I wrote my master’s thesis on how to use DCUI to lower the risk when published expensive collected editions in hopes of putting that research to use here!

Really glad that these editions are selling well. Readers value value in this day and age and compact editions are an excellent way to provide it.
How successful is DC's Compact Comics line? It outperformed all of Marvel's collected editions based on the top 20 sales charts of all 2024 sales from bookstores -- and it was only available in the last half of the year. More: www.thepopverse.com/comics-dc-co...
