Little map I made for my D&D group’s session in an abandoned temple to the Raven Queen a while back! Not a good style for battle-maps, but i think it gets all the rest of the vibes across!

AI tools do not code at or anywhere near the level of a junior dev. Despite what smug tech people will tell you, junior devs are not actually at the level of a golden retriever

AI tools code at approximately the level of a non coder who has stack overflow open and keeps offering "helpful" advice.

I work with PBS right now and this bill passing is so upsetting - the community support to help keep public media alive though has been so wonderful!! Another way to help if money is tight is volunteering with your local PBS office during our fundraising events & calling your representatives!
The government has decided to claw back a billion dollars in funding for public media across the country. You can support PBS by subscribing to their streaming service PBS Passport! I also recommend donating to your local radio station.

For the first two days of steam next fest, games are presented in random order instead of algorithmically.

For many indie games, this is their one shot for the public to actually see them.

Don't judge too quickly when something doesn't look amazing right off the bat, and find some hidden gems.

This is such a clever way to mess around with shaders that i will undoubtedly be stealing as soon as I start working on a 3D project again :P
A favorite bit to add when making #shaders is to have an auto animating screenspace-wipe slider effect to see 2 versions of a shader without having to add +manipulate a slider in the inspector, edit code/move cam instead

Is it still a little messy? Yes, but I'm proud of how this scene is coming along! It's basically 3 tile maps (4 layers each!) on top of each other, with a script that swaps them out based on which key you hit!

Hoping to get a really nice & seamless shot for our trailer ^^
