@isaiahrmartin.bsky.social corrects a Republican voter explaining she’s not pro-life, she is pro-birth.

The distinction is important because if you support a man who defunded the summer lunch program for millions of children across the nation, you don’t care about babies and children after all.

Last week, Trump and Republicans in Congress got their way. They passed their big bill that rips away health care from millions of Americans and adds trillions to the debt—all to pay for tax cuts for rich people.

They’re going to regret it, and I’m planning to make sure they do.

Imagine leading FEMA and not believing in emergency management. You’d think, as a former governor, she’d know what was going on.

But I guess this is what you get when the president’s cabinet is full of unqualified conspiracy theorists.

The American people deserve better.

Another group of volunteers from Mexico is helping in the recovery efforts in Texas. They are known as Los Topos de Mexico or The Moles. Their leader, Hector Mendez, is 80 years old. Los Topos specialize in locating victims trapped under rubble.
They also helped during 9/11.

California surgical center staff demanded a warrant when ICE tried to snatch a landscaper. Now DHS is falsely accusing them of assault. Sure—nurses assaulted armed, masked thugs with clipboards🙄. This is retaliation for standing up & exercising free speech.

I keep thinking about how Gov Abbott had plenty of funds to fly and bus migrants all across the country but couldn't come up with a million for a flood warning system.

Hard to take seriously the red-white-and-blue rhetoric of freedom on a 4th of July where the US president has cut off aid to a democracy fighting for its independence against ferocious attack by a foreign tyrant.

This is the highjacked America we must reject! ⬇️
Concentration camps on American soil. Masked agents terrorizing our neighbors and abducting people off the streets to fill them.

As if that weren’t horrific enough—some so-called “Christians” are cheering it on like it’s some kind of twisted, dehumanization porn.

What the hell have we become?
