The sheer amount of art supplies I have unused is going to incentive me to use it all up (even the paint!) before I buy anything.
Same thing going through my clothes; ostomy-friendly some of it ain't! I'll donate once unpacked so it can be useful to someone else.

I don't get huge migraines, let alone do I know what triggers them, but when I do I usually can't see out of one eye for a few hours.
I don't think anyone wants me to clean their teeth to the tune of me going "So I'm blinded in one eye but I'll do my best with my sickle blade."

Even if we shut down the rescue we still have to pay off those bills and I don’t know where most of these cats could even go- some have been up for adoption for YEARS with little to no applications.

The rescue lost most of our regular monthly donors and we’re starting to get into trouble with the size of our current vet bills. Worried they’re going to cut off services if we can’t make a chunk of payment towards the huge bill, but everyone is struggling and I don’t know what we’re going to do.

To build off of what my partner posted- she has had her second surgery.
We are up to approximately $9000 in vet bills, and there is another $2800 in our near future.

The vet visit was... Not good.
She may have mammary tumors and I'm spending about $600 in tests.
If they come back poorly, she has to get a $6000 surgery to remove all of her glands since the tumors are aggressive.

Close to a year since my ileostomy surgery and I finally got around to booking with a massage therapist.
My right side is gonna be in so much pain, but it'll be the good muscle pain. I'm the one who put myself here.

Can't believe how often I run into the misconception that shelter animals are all broken, deficient, or ruined in some way. The overwhelming majority of shelter animals end up there because of human circumstances, NOT because they did anything wrong.

It's a wonderful 6°C outside in Toronto and the autumn weather is finally here. The sun sets earlier, rises later, and all in all it's perfect weather.
