Drawn in pencil and the filigree outline inked in, roughly 4 hours. I should use stencils in the future (or however a light box is used?) but I like making things a challenge.

I've this week off and a bit of next week before returning to work. I'm slow at drawing, and I'm okay with that. I really want to work on forms. My art resolutions for 2026 are:
1) One illustration a month.
2) Make something I want to see/hang on the wall.

I don't know who flagged my Wendigo piece as "sexually suggestive" but I *highly encourage* you to read about the Windigo/Wendigo stories of the Algonquin nation.

Waiting for my new drafting table to arrive today, with assembly happening this weekend.
I'm thrilled that after 4 years I'll be able to have a proper place to draw again, not hunched over prawn-like and using my hardback books to hold the bristol paper.
