The Internet Archive has to date downloaded 500 terabytes of US government websites, which it crawls at the end of every presidential term. The whole archive is fully searchable. This effort's housed by a donation-funded nonprofit, not a branch of the US government. blog.archive.org/2024/05/08/e...

no pressure Bills, it’s just that you’re America’s last and only hope in a terrible joyless world that would be made worse with another Chiefs super bowl

Over the last 2 weeks, Josh Allen has accounted for 855 total yards and 10 touchdowns--5 passing and 5 rushing.

That's just ridiculous.

The Vegetarian by Han Kang: It is a story distilled to a jaw-dropping potency. Grappling with human agency/autonomy and gender, Kang expertly delves into challenging social norms. It’s by turns beautiful and then brutal…but always vivid. It is odd and beautiful in its own way. #booksky 💙📚

Yes, libraries are invaluable for their collections and public services they offer, but also social contact without the expectation to interact with anyone or spend any money is so important to so many people

A couple of notes:

1. I'm here and on Threads; bot/troll upswing here in the last couple of days is noticeable, where Threads has nothing, because the trolls go where the heat is;

2. Trolls/bots really don't grasp how nuclear the block here is;

3. Remember also "hide comment for all" works great.

That kindness is always going to be appreciated by creators, but if you want to help to boost something here, you have to repost it so others see it. 🙂
