My fave Kubrick anecdote: David Prowse on acting in A Clockwork Orange:
'So you want me to carry Patrick Magee, who weighs 17Olbs, plus the wheelchair, another 30lbs, so 200lbs, down the stairs & then do a dialogue scene?'
'Yeah, you can do it.'
'I know but your name isn't One Take Kubrick, is it?'

Look at the white women reporters who grinned submissively as Trump berated one of their colleagues. Access journalism at its finest!

BTW he seemed kind of nervous to me. Maybe because of the Epstein document dump in which more of Trump's perverted abuse of little girls was detailed.
This is happening a lot to female journalists. So here is a modest proposal for the White House press corps: Stand together. No one should ask another question until the President answers the question that was ignored.

Comparing the 2025 clips of Trump from 'Melania' with highlights from his recent press conferences, it is clear that he is declining fast.

The kids are alright.
Across the US, children & teens, stepped into the streets to confront the regime and ICE. In places, they were so young they required police escorts; in others, they stood their ground as MAGA extremists attempted to intimidate them.

A very significant vote. The $75 billion can be taken away; this marks a clear vote by the Democratic caucus to do so.
👀 Every Senate Democrat + Collins and Murkowski just voted for the Bernie Sanders amendment to repeal the $75 billion in additional ICE funding under Trump’s “big beautiful bill.” The measure failed 49-51.

For your consideration: Until the unredacted Epstein Files can be reviewed in their entirety, we should--as a protective measure--assume that the top leaders of both the US private and public sectors might be pedophiles or at least pedophile protectors.

Brad Karp of Paul, Weiss was so close to Jeffrey Epstein that Epstein could ask him for a "personal favor" in 2018. Seems like it was for the corrupt art dealer Larry Gagosian, already busted for tax evasion in 2016, who got sued in 2018 over an even bigger fraud. Epstein asked Karp to help. 5/
