I hate the quarter system. We have less than a week break between sessions so not really enough time to recharge ourselves. :(

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.
18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

I've been working on curriculum for an OLLI class I'm teaching next week and it'll be interesting to see how which strategies work and which don't. It reminds me I should review my instructional design stuff.

OMG, you know who get REALLY wild at conventions? Librarians. I’ve witnessed it twice first hand and am still shook. But god bless ‘em.
