This is my new lunch. I realize it could qualify as a budget meal depending on where you source the ingredients. Oatmeal on the bottom, made savory with stock instead of water. Frozen broccoli steamed then seared with fish sauce, kimchi on top. There's ground up flax, hemp, chia too.

Announcement?

As I explore old typewriters, I thought to involve you (?).

If you feel alright with my having an address, DM me a theme, question, or etc. I’ll draw from my janky toolkit, write you a little something, date it, identify the typewriter, and send.

You gently run your hand through the rack. You can feel it—pure cotton, rich wool, Irish linen. The plump buttonholes are handsewn; the buttons attached with a firm shank. You flip the price tag over. It's affordable

You buy the jacket and go home, which is only 15 mins away. Your apt is $600/month

We have a great screened porch. It's probably the only truly great thing about this vinyl cookie cutter house. The problem is, we haven't taken good care of the upholstery of the furniture, so we haven't sat out there in years. It was truly gross. Yesterday, I decided to fix that.

Had half a cabbage that needed to be eaten. Cut it in half, steamed in bamboo, charred in skillet, cut roughly, tossed with fish sauce and Japanese BBQ sauce. Good gravy!

When people say "We used to drink raw milk from our own cow and it was fine,"

That's... usually not the case!

In families w their own cow, the mom usually boiled it before using.

We just forgot bc that's a boring chore that mom did. And who pays attention to that?

Can folks do me a favor?

I was on Bluesky early & it was great. Mostly. I hit the eject button in January.

I came back, many colleagues are here, but still don’t know I am.

I co-created Halt and Catch Fire. I write TV & comics.

Here’s two favorite set photos.
