They should have done their research. UK government did eventually released a risk assessment regarding the consequences of leaving the uk. Most voters did not believe that the consequences would apply to them. Brexit was all about tax avoidance for the extremely wealthy.

The majority of Scots checked the facts and were not taken in by the rhetoric of Farage and Johnson and voted for remaining in the EU. Scots voices were ignored and we were dragged out of the EU. This is one of the many reasons we want independence, we want be able to make our own decisions
