Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

This is a good start from Democratic leadership with demands that would halt the regime’s terror campaign and protect our communities.

But we need to know where Schumer and Jeffries stand on DHS funding levels. ICE and CBP are already flush with cash — what are Democrats going to do about that?
SENATE AND HOUSE DEMOCRATS ARE UNITED ON REINING IN THE ABUSES OF ICE

Americans have watched in horror as ICE has terrorized communities across the country

Federal agents can’t continue to cause chaos in our cities while more Americans are killed

We must rein in ICE

Here’s what we're demanding:

The problem of ICE/CBP reform is we have a monster rampaging through our democracy and are trying to restrict *which* cities it can pillage and *how many* civilians it can eat. The problem isn’t the restrictions on the monster; the problem is the monster. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/six-ways-t...

Here’s how you can help fight back: Though your public comments won't sway this transphobic regime, they will be very important for future lawsuits. 👇

Ugh. DJT, known for his insight and keeping promises.
After Trump tells NBC News he could maybe use a "softer touch" on immigration, we immediately get the "different tone" narrative from CNN.

Brianna Keilar: "A change of tone for the president. Softer touch."

David Chalian: "He acknowledged learning something that this requires a softer touch."

@vanhollen.senate.gov Could you please explain to your colleagues that they must stop voting for Trump nominees? They will be confirmed anyway but it continues normalizing this regime's behavior. Not sure what the benefit is.

@schumer.senate.gov Why does DHS need anymore funding than the obscene amount they already have?? What happened to healthcare? To SNAP? You know, doing things that actually benefit us??

And this is why we can't have nice things like healthcare, like a real 1st world country.
Congressional Budget Office: “Federal troop deployments to US cities cost a total of $496 million in 2025, CBO estimates. Continuing current deployments will cost $93 million a month; 1,000 Guard personnel deployed to a city will cost at least $18 million a month.” www.cbo.gov/publication/...

No, this isn't enough to vote yes. ICE already has too much $$ and is already violating their own rules and will ignore.

Just as DOJ is not releasing the Epstein files.

Dems, grow a spine and learn how TO RESIST, not accommodate.

@govwesmoore.bsky.social Please. Especially as ICE is ramping up here.
Reupping the dedicated website MN DOC made to debunk the false claims Trump's people keep making about non-cooperation. The latest update includes VIDEO proof that MN officials transferred custody of people ICE claims to have snatched.

Every state should have a similar site.

Tell your Senators that ICE doesn't need more $. They already have more than most militaries. These demands should be the minimum for passing the OTHER funding bills. Stop snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Learn to fight. #Demsatitagain
Dems coalescing around 5 restrictions on ICE, I'm told:

DHS required to cooperate with state probes (big)
CBP stays at border
warrants for arrests
IDs, bodycams
ICE out of churches, schools

"That package unites a lot of Dems," Sen Chris Murphy tells me on the pod:
