Lotta cowboy vibes lately. Been playing RDR2 again and we just recently re-watched the Hateful Eight and Cold Mountain. Think I just wanna put on a big ol coat with a thick fur collar, hop on a very fluffy horse, and disappear into the snowy trees for awhile.

Bleh, just feeling down lately and this work crap has been a major component. Will I ever find that unicorn job that truly makes me feel fulfilled but also compensates for my efforts? I guess that's asking for too much these days 🙃

I'll be completely honest, the resort is failing. We're losing money, each holiday we see bigger losses in rev, and it sadly will not improve unless a drastic re-training happens with our team. However, the company has made this virtually impossible by cutting down our hours to the bare minimum.

Welp, we're being told to cut down hours even more now that the holidays are over. IDK what they expect for this location, but it's definitely hard for a manager to be able to focus on implementing positive changes when we're now covering several other positions to save on labor.

Got a decent bite on my finger this morning at work breaking up a fight. Two punctures. Work has been rough lately and this was just a way-too-fitting way to wrap up 2025. Thankfully, my afternoon group was great, these 2 golden boys I think sensed my anxiety and were glued to me all afternoon 🥹❤️🩹
