Had to walk out on my beloved optometrist because they were *requiring* the optomap retinal imaging scan and would not offer dilation as an option anymore
The scan 1) costs an extra 50 dollars and is not covered by insurance and 2) MADE ME GO TEMPORARILY BLIND IN ONE EYE last time it was performed

Okay there's definitely gotta be something in a water because now in the last day I've had 2 more weirdly difficult people contact me, one of which just started the conversation yelling at me for ignoring them when I do not see any other messages from them AT ALL
Someone on MFC instantly became the worst kind of buyer - sudden unsubstantiated fear of damage on a NIB figure, trying to haggle, backpeddling when I told them they are welcome to purchase later if the price drops
I was as thoughtful and considerate as I could be and they still freaked out
