This is such an interesting idea. The “ridealong” is such an established genre binding journalism to law enforcement. Great to see @zeteo.com flip this on its head and bind journalism to mutual aid and community care, real “news you can use.”
We did a ride along. Not with law enforcement. But with the Minneapolis residents defending their communities from those very officers.

I hope everything is okay. I don't know what's happening, but I like your reporting, and general vibe, and I hope you get through this tough time.

just want to remind folks that pushback and public outrage stopped them from closing the CDC library. i bet pushback will stop them here, too
“The Trump administration is closing NASA’s largest research library on Friday, a facility that houses tens of thousands of books, documents and journals — many of them not digitized or available anywhere else.”

I applaud workers at the CDC for standing up against Sec. Kennedy’s dangerous anti-vaccine crusade.

We are witnessing a full-blown war on public health from the Trump Administration.

History will not look kindly on those who stayed silent in the face of this assault on science.

Let them know you're filming them and keep asking the key questions:

"Do you have a warrant signed by a judge? Show me."

"Do you have a badge? Show me."

"Do you know how pathetic you are? You showed me."
In Middleton, NY.

This guy probably saved his neighbors from Trump's masked thugs.

This is how you firmly assert your rights and stand up for our communities.

That's correct, for me at least. I don't have a number, but I imagine a million or two would cover most of it.

Revolutionaries in Myanmar have directly and unequivocally expressed their solidarity with Palestine. All this poster represents is an attempt to tokenize their struggle and use it to justify the same thing they’re fighting against.

A really beautiful video and message from the liberated Karenni mountains of Myanmar to the people of Palestine.

Everybody knows the primary threat to Texas isn't natural disasters, evil corporations polluting the world, or anything else real; it's woke. Woke is the true problem, and if we fix woke, a conservative utopia (let's call it Omelas) will spring up unbidden from the ashes of random hate and bigotry.

Okay maybe I'm being really dumb, but is it possible he was just trying to be helpful? Like my read was that he knew it was Robert's podcast and that people in the comments might want a link to it so they could give it a listen if they haven't yet. But maybe there's additional context I'm missing?

Bill is awful and should have been summarily ejected from any position of influence years ago

if the cost of taking down Trump is losing Bill Clinton I take that deal any day of the week and twice on sunday
Daily Mail now is reporting

"Bill Clinton wrote 'warm & gushing' letter included in Jeffrey Epstein's infamous 50th 'birthday book."

Ok. If files show Bill Clinton is guilty of being a client, as a long-time supporter of the ex-President I can say he should go to prison.

Sad but not difficult
