This struggle is far from over ... but the longer it takes ... the worse it gets ... for EVERYONE ... generations will suffer.

One of the most depressing things about these results is just how much the median voter does not give a damn about anyone else, they do not care about minorities, they do not care about people abroad, all they want is their lives to be comfy at the cost of everyone else’s lives.

I can’t believe I’m alive when the USA moved from being a democracy to a theocratic dictatorship.
Glad I don’t live there, because I would be one of the first to be strung to the wall for existing.

Why do people choose hate, it makes the world a worse off place.

This was a fascinating 12 min video on “sadopopulism”… a theory behind how oligarchs get and maintain power.

It talks about how “Make America Great AGAIN” is about taking us back to a time when we had more racism, sexism, discrimination & suffering.

Oligarchs cause pain & don’t seek to unify:

I worked at the paper for seven years and Bezos never interfered with a thing. This is five-alarm fire stuff.

This would be pretty devastating to lose. All of my fungal living collections from my PhD are stored here, but it's not just a personal (for me) loss. It would be a tragedy for Canadian pharmaceutical innovation.

I also own that board game, and highly recommend it!

Canadians could soon lose access to a unique public collection of fungi that scientists say is crucial for important research, such as developing new drugs to treat antibiotic-resistant pathogens and treatments for fungal diseases emerging in a warmer climate.
