guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

Mijn dag is goed, of sterker, mijn hele paddenstoelenseizoen is goed! Want ik heb deze Vertakte Collybia's gevonden. Ze zijn zeldzaam maar misschien komt dat ook omdat ze zo klein zijn en dus niet vaak gezien worden. Er ligt een eikel achter, zo klein zijn ze dus.

Be sure to zoom in and really drink deep of the majesty of the purple frog (Nasikabatrachus sahyadrensis), also called the pignose frog.

They're native to southern India & have some really unusual adaptations to their life cycle. I promise their bizarre shape will make sense.

Look, I'll be honest. It's a frog that looks like an inflated testicle. Muscular, robust arms and tiny, tiny eyes with a sort of micro-pignose are the only features on what looks like a wrinkled, skin covered balloon. Behind it is leaf litter of predominantly yellow grass. Credit: Karthickbala

In Denmark if you're left-leaning or young, you're much more likely to understand that wolves are positive for ecosystems. If you're right-wing or older, the chances diminish substantially.

The Nail fungus (so called because of the nail like shape of the fruiting body) Poronia punctata, is one of the rarest fungi in the UK and Europe . UK distribution is essentially limited to the New Forest. It is only found on the dung of horses and ponies that have been feeding on unimproved acidic grassland and heath vegetation - so New Forest pony dung is an ideal habitat. Farming herbicides, plant pesticides and synthetic chemicals used in the 'worming' of horses have been blamed for the demise of this fungus. Snotverkouden en geen energie maar ik kan nog wel een potlood vasthouden. Dit is één der gordijnzwammen, het zou de zeldzame violetbruine gordijnzwam kunnen zijn maar dat kan alleen met microscopisch onderzoek bevestigd worden.
