A Trump-appointed judge just struck down a Biden rule expanding overtime pay to 4 million working people.

It's really surprising how little media coverage this has received. Trump faced no real questions about this issue during the campaign. 1/

Our neighbors are not ok.
At 4:03 AM Trump posts that he is prepared to use the military to round up migrants in a mass deportation effort after Mike Johnson, Tony Gonzales & other Republicans spent the weekend saying this was not the case.

I’m seeing this info more and more. We need imperfect hard left candidates.
If you want to know what is the primary determinant of people's views on the economy, & whether they think "inflation" is a problem, it's this chart on media use. More than any other factor you can think of. We tried them all. But it's not really about education.

I would like to “wow” things instead of just like them. But here’s this crap.
It hasn’t received a lot of attention, but a federal court this week chucked 40 years of rules governing America’s most controversial environmental law into the wood chipper. Here’s what happens next: heatmap.news/climate/nepa...

From a friend: “Someone I know had a meeting with a Trump agriculture transition team member. This person said surely you’re not going to impose tariffs on food imports. He responded why wouldn’t we? And my person said: because about 30% of the food Americans regularly consume cannot be grown here…”

And many of those civilian federal employees are former US military Servicemembers. Sounds like this new little treehouse club cosplaying as a Department wants to fire a bunch of Veterans? Shameful.
The stated focus (for Ramaswamy at least) is savings by cutting employees. But the size of the federal govt in terms of employees is about where it was in 1960, even tho it is doing way more. As a % of the population, it is historically low. Most *civilian* employees are in defense/security sector.
