The NIH budget will INCREASE by $400 million — not slashed by 40%, as Trump proposed — according to a proposal by Senate appropriators, says Sen Murray.

"Some have asked if there will even be an NIH by [2029]. The commmittee's resounding message is yes—Congress has your back", she says.

Listen to this mealy-mouthed non-answer about the billions in CANCER RESEARCH funding Trump's budget chief is illegally blocking.

Clinical trials have been cut short. Research is shutting down. We're talking irreparable harm.

Keep speaking up until they get this money out.
BRENNAN: Are you going to release the cancer research funding?

RUSS VOUGHT: We're gonna continue to go through the same process that we have gone through with regard to the Dept of Education & we will release that funding when we are done

BRENNAN: The WH budget does call for a $18b cut to NIH

They just want a pure aristocracy of inherited wealth

Economists warn: Trump’s science cuts threaten the U.S. economy.

Slashing funding for NIH, NSF, and NASA hurts every American. These cuts are killing jobs, stalling innovation, and shrinking our economic future.

We all pay the price when science is defunded.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

The part every strategist around the world is stressing right now is that really no one has gamed out "What if America didn't even have it's own empire interests at heart?" as part of the strategy.

All the usual rules of negotiation & deterrence work on people who understand what they might lose.
