Another outcome for which the Kremlin worked, lest we forget. Described in "Road to Unfreedom."
Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

The Sun had long since ceased to be a newspaper. But #newsnight and #r4today taking their cue from tabloid hacks, hosting self-appointed ‘experts’ from research institutes’ backed by shady money seem to have abandoned #bbc journalism too.
Irony is dead

Sun journalist on the BBC's flagship #Newsnight says Labour's budget is wilfully misleading, outright lying, and that we want honesty from politicians

Since the government sold its remaining stake in NatWest six months ago, shareholders have done well: the share price is near a record high, up 15% since full privatisation, and the bank posted £5.8bn in pre-tax profits for the first three quarters of 2025. But workers are faring less well.

Opinion: Ukraine has earned the right to shape its own future. Washington and Moscow are denying it that right
The ‘peace process’ is barrelling out of Kyiv’s control, and that is a serious problem for a sclerotic Europe and democracy at large

Reform UK’s barrister tried to scare us. Our advice to other news sites: don’t play the bully’s game
My news organisation, Nation.Cymru, was threatened with legal action over a story involving Nigel Farage’s party in the Senedd. Instead of hiring our own lawyer, we simply told them to go away, writes...

Why wouldn’t you want to know? What have you got to fear? Losing your precious Brexit? Being revealed as a traitor and a liar?
Surely, anyone decent and honest who genuinely cares about our country and our democracy has nothing to lose from this. So, sign up.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

Will the Daily Mail revive its 1930s headline?
Anyway from now on we can all legitimately call Reform the "Black Shirts" - given they're flogging them to their actual members.

What an own goal!

Geddit?
It takes a special kind of right-wing British political party to literally sell black shirts.

Are you going to tell them?

Or shall I?

Oligarchs owning newspapers and football clubs, sitting in the House of Lords, PM partying with KGB in Italy, bribes for questions in parliament, paying for Brexit, lots of well heeled Russian stooges have welcomed it all
People have causes they care about. That's fine. To me, this petition is the most important UK one of all because it concerns 10+ years of sickeningly successful Russian interference in politics, law, media, the private sector, fiance, and even British society as a whole. So much we care about.
I've signed. Have you?

I’m sorry for the National Guards who are only following orders.

Objectively, had the President not called them to serve as law enforcement officers, this tragedy would never have happened.

They seek to demagogue their way out of their own culpability.

To lose honorable people this way!
