There's no point to these online spaces anymore. X is just filled with bots and Nazis, Instagram is mainly AI slop, narcissists, and entertainers pushing their brand. Facebook is unusable and BlueSky just about forbids any type of interaction. Maybe it's time I relearned how to read books/be bored.

Last night, I was tormented by dreams about Power BI. I might need to spend the next few days just reading.

None of this would be happening if the cool black kids at Sixth Form college hadn't dragged Kemi about her horse-batty-hair braids and dry legs. If just one of those girls had said something nice about her weave or offered her some cocoa butter, we'd not be here now.
Here Lam explicitly sets out her proposal - which is official Conservative Party policy - to deport long-standing legal permanent residents who have *ever* claimed any benefit, including the state pension or child benefit (even if the child is British), or who earn less than £39K.

I'm unfollowing people who consistently restrict replies to their posts. What's the point of watching someone shout nonsense into a void?

We've reached the "culturally inferior" stage. I'm guessing we're going to get to "genetically inferior" before next year's local elections. "Something something...first cousin marriage...something something SEND provisions... something something diabetes..."

This was the episode they showed on Sky Mix yesterday, by coincidence.
RIP Samantha Eggar, who was great in David Cronenberg’s THE BROOD, but also was wonderful as Marie Picard in “Family,” the best episode of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION.

Global Handwashing Day might only come once a year, but clean hands should be part of your daily routine. It’s one of the simplest and most effective ways to stop germs spreading. 🧼
✅ Use soap and warm water
✅ Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds

As someone who mainly only listens to 90s R&B, D'Angelo is very much a current artist for me. Absolutely gutted he died. Damn. Him and Angie Stone in the same year. Damn.

Just seen the Starfleet Academy trailer. I can already tell they've once again adopted a ten episode, story-arc driven, pew-pew heavy, approach. Is there a reason we can't have nice things anymore? All they had to do was make Buffy the Vampire Slayer in space.

Here's my theory about Peter Thiel: one night, after a sesh with Musk et al, he experiences a dark night of the soul. Tripping off his balls, he realises he's a truly awful person, and is probably the antichrist. Days later, sober and confused, he can't reconcile the truth, so pins it on Greta.

Final day of a week of annual leave, which I took to avoid being fired for telling quite a few people about themselves. The question is, do I spend my last day completing chores that will set me up for a good return to work, or should I press self-destruct and download Dwarf Fortress from Steam?
