It’s a work in progress but I’ll get it to where it needs to be.
The bridge was trying to collect tolls today.

I thought Tim said he’d remove them if he was elected. Seems like something that could have been stopped instantly if he was serious about it as a promise.

When people ask for advice in the Peloton Facebook group, I didn’t realize they didn’t actually want your advice.

They only wanted people to tell them how awesome they are.

It’s a crazy place.

Why are we hearing from the fire chief about the service provided. Was the general manager not available?

Just ran the first tank of gas empty on our new hybrid Toyota Highlander. 700km for the full tank. 8L/100km

Very happy with that.

Critical care paramedic learners were in lab for part of the day today preparing for OSCEs. It’s an honour to be involved in the education of Nova Scotia’s next cohort of CCPs.

Defend this person all you want. The truth of the matter is he should never have a license to practice paramedicine ever again. If an independent regulator existed he wouldn’t.

Since September we’ve gone from owning a mini van and VW Golf to owning a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The hybrid is like driving in a video game. How can I get my L/100k lower. Even the kids are “dad that’s too much power”.
If you have any tips to maximize fuel economy shoot them my way.

Trying to teach pulmonary artery catheters to critical care paramedics in a system that doesn’t use pulmonary artery catheters is a silly use of time.

This applies to every presentation of pain.

Don’t withhold analgesics from anyone if no contraindications exist.

Drug “seeking” behaviour is not a contraindication to analgesics.
Paramedics 👇🏼
I feel like I shouldn't have to keep saying this, but it astonishes me that it keeps happening:

If your patient has a very obvious, painful, traumatic injury, give them analgesia. Give them proper doses & give it early.

Yes, even if they aren't screaming.

Don't let people suffer quietly.

Very interesting subtext in this one; sometimes taking a hard look in the mirror and leaving a role that leaves you "running on empty" is what is best for the leader. #leadership #mentalhealth #selfcare #EMS www.ems1.com/paramedic-ch...

Hey Halifax and area! Many if not most of you already know this, but HRP said about 45 minutes ago that they’re responding to multiple collisions due to the icy road conditions. Stay safe out there.

Ringette is going to make an appearance on CBC Sports this weekend.

If you’ve never watched ringette this will be a great chance. It’s a high paced, exciting game to watch.

Rules might be a little unfamiliar but it won’t take away from the action.

On the day after my 20-year-old daughter Robyn was killed, "Soho on the Block" interviewed Robyn's friend Rabbit. He knew my daughter from the Kissena Velodrome and as a bicycle messenger. Rabbit shared details not accurately, if at all, in the press coverage of their death.

Please consider body donation with your estate planning.

This program out of Dalhousie University is amazing.

Critical Care Paramedic learners in Nova Scotia have the privilege of benefiting from this program through cadaveric practice of high acuity skills.

Why transit doesn’t catch on in #Halifax

Supposed to arrive 20min before my shift starts.

Actually arrive 20mins late.

I can deal with it but many people don’t have employers that will deal with tardiness.

Preparing for a big week of paramedic learning next week.

Our cohort of Critical Care Paramedics will write their 2nd of 4 exams as well as complete OSCE examinations. It’s a stressful time for them.

No amount of me telling them they’re awesome is going to help relieve that.

I would like someone from the NSNDP to do a survey now so I can let them know why I didn’t vote for them.

I think it would be productive.

This election I spoiled my ballot.

I was never going to vote NSPC or NSLP.

The NSNDP candidate might as well have been a ghost.

She doesn’t live in the riding.

Had almost zero social media presence.

Posted only once that she was even in the riding.

Didn’t respond to any inquiries.
